Motherload is "a crowdsourced documentary about how cargo bikes will save the world". The campaign has been initiated by Liz Canning using the slogan "less car more go". Also the film making is crowdsourced, as producer Erica Tanamachi and Liz are being accompanied by more than 100 co-producing cargo cyclists - some even "have hosted gatherings now called “Cargo Bike Roll Call”s wherein cyclists bond, tell there story and go for a ride, all on video". A trailer of the movie has been in the International Cylcing Film FEstival selction of 2011. The screening tour (most probably in late 2016 and 2017?) will be hosted by "bike advocacy orgs, academic institutions, potential tour sponsors, and folks interested in organizing their own community viewing".
